Ellipsis 7 acting strange

My Ellipsis 7 has suddenly started acting strange. It's as if it doesn't understand where I'm tapping or swiping. I might tap inside an game have open, and it thinks I want to open Google. I am be swiping left in a news article, and it takes me to the "close all apps" screen. It's like it can't register exactly where I'm tapping or swiping. suggestions?

When did this issue start? Has there been any damage to the tablet? Do you notice this happening when accessing a certain app or is it random? If you are using a screen protector, remove it and see if you notice a difference.

This just started this morning (worked fine last night).

No damage to the tablet at all.

Random, doesn't matter what app I'm using.

No screen protector.
