Email App

Question

Can the non-Gmail email app be removed?  So far the only thing I've been able to accomplish with it is moving it to a separate home page where it's out of sight.  I'd rather that it be completely gone, or at least be able to modify it so my AOL account no longer shows there.

I am new to both the S4 and Android.  Huge learning curve coming from a Windows phone.  I need all the help I can get!
