Email stopped working on Galaxy S3...any suggestions?

My incoming email on my Galaxy S3 stopped working.  I have tried everything.  I have Verizon and called them and they told me it was a phone problem.

Any suggestions?

I've noticed the SAME issue on my phone since the update. Frustrating.
