My LG Envy3 had a number of tiny pictures that could be easily inserted in text messages. My Galaxy3 only has a few symbols and the little green faces with various expressions. I know that I can insert a picture from my gallery, but that is not what I want to do in text messaging. Is there something I am missing?

Open your messages app and go to the settings. There may be a check box there for emoticons.
