Error (Samsung S6)

Help!  Not sure what is going on, however, I keep receiving an error on my main screen telling me that "fingerprint sensor is not responding.  Please try again later".  Issue is this.... I don't even have the fingerprint sensor set up.  I had this issue before (when I did have the sensor on) so I pulled it and now only have a pin.  What can I do to rectify this?  I have restarted my phone.... multiple times.... did an update to the software... restarted again.  Same ol thing.  I even tried to go to security and access the fingerprint option and get the same error??  Thanks much!!

Help has arrived, HD_HUGGER883. We want your device in tip top shape. Let’s check further into this error and get it corrected. Have you deleted your finger print from your settings? This is located under Settings > Lock screen and Security > Fingerprint. How often does this pop up on the screen?
