After waiting way too long, My Galaxy Nexus told me the update was ready to install.
The install worked just fine. I have checked my most important apps and they are all working.
My radio reception seems to be a little better, but time will tell if that is imagined or real

Got mine too...I am thinking the radio was helpful....not that I was having a major problem, but for whatever reason after about 2.5 years off service in my apt, reception has been horrid the past 6 months...I am showing "more bars"....but we will definitely see....At least we got it...that is a start.
oh, and in case anyone is curious. I am in CA

As of Friday June !st 11:50 pm, just got the update. Checking everything out, So far my signal has not changed, never had phone problems, but did have problems with data and 4g. My dbm is still at 100 with 40asu. Which is high, you want a lower number. And my data transfer is still the same at 12 mbps down and 6 up, unfortunately that didn't change. The system seems a lil more smoother, still cross checking it with the list of 4.0.4 fixes and ad ons. Godspeed for those still waiting.

I was notified of the update on an airplane mode, on wifi only with the SIM card removed Nexus this morning. The message popped up just a few minutes after connecting to the Wifi router.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

So, as I have stated in another thread, I have not had the typical issues with my GNEX ...My calls have always been clear with zero crackling, volume levels have always been great, even my battery life with 4g and wifi on would last pretty much the entire day (of course, except when I would get in the elevator and the phone would lock out of reception...then my battery was lucky to last an hour while the phone was searching for signal). Ok, so maybe the last one is the same....ha
Anyways, an issue I was running into was that between 11 pm and 1 am, I had ZERO reception. Not able to text, call, or anything that had to do with the cell signal to my phone. It, also, wasn't phone specific. it, originally, started happening on a Droid Incredible...then that went back for warranty, and of course, the replacement had the same issue. 2 problem tickets and same answer for both (nothing is wrong with the tower) I continued to have to live with the problem. Then, the problem continued to the GNEX.....which brings me back around to the update....
Last night, after the update came through, downloaded, installed, etc.....I made a call around 10:45...in fear that I would drop it at 11, I tried not to think about and just chat with my friend....at 11:30 the call dropped. On any usual night, that would have been the end of it, but I tried to return the call, and it actually went through. I was also able to send texts....Granted, they are delayed in "sending," but they are going out....So, hopefully this is a good sign the update worked....as well, no random reboots.
So, sorry for the long story, but just wanted to share my "so far relief" with the update
