Fast charging not working after update

After the most recent Verizon update my S7 edge stopped fast charging. I have fast charging enabled on the phone and have three separate fast chargers which were working fine before the update so highly unlikely that it is a charger/cable issue. Any advice?

After you got the last update did you clear the cache partition on the phone from the recovery mode?

I don't understand the connection between the cache partition and this problem but I know it does help on some phones. This will also help with several other problem you may have with the phone after an update.

It does not change your personal settings on your phone .If you get an update sometimes that will change some of your settings so you need to check your settings after a update. Before my S5 died I know this clearing did help with a lot of the problems I was having with the phone.

Volume up-power-home this will take you to recovery mode

Then use the volume down to highlight the clear partition cache

Press power then use volume down to say yes then press power

It will clear the cache then just use the power button to tap reboot

and see if that helped anything that you were having a problem with

The one thing I noticed right away was how the battery didn't die so quickly

Along with these, you will want to check your ports for any damage and debris or lint. Check that you have not damaged your cables by excessively rolling the cable or creating sharp bends. The inquiry about the original cable is an important one, are you using the original fast charging cable that came with the device? Please keep us posted, I hope these suggestions helped.

How does one clear the cache partion?
