Fingerprint Scanner After Marshmallow

I had fingerprint enabled before the Marshmallow update to my S6 and it worked perfectly. Now I'd say it recognizes my fingerprint about 25% of the time, and never on the first try. A trick I'm learning is that once you wake the phone you need to give it about five seconds before it'll "take" the fingerprint. Even then, it still works less than half of the time.

Which is not at all how it worked in Lollipop, which in my opinion was nearly flawless. Is this being looked at? I haven't changed anything since the update.

I fixed my fingerprint issues on a previous version by deleting my saved prints and scanning new ones. When you scan, don't move your finger around to scan lots of different areas of your finger. Whatever part of your finger you plan on using, make sure to scan that again and again. The same part, over and over. Teach your phone to recognize that one small patch of your finger.

Unfortunately I have the same result before and after re-training my fingerprints. It's not a "bad scan" situation...something has changed in the way the lock screen handles the scan.

My issue is not reading of fingerprints which works fast and 100%, my issue now with Marshmallow instead of easily switching between fingerprints and none it is a HUGE process where you can't even use fingerprint to change you have to enter passcode and then when select None it goes into this whole spiel of saving or removing fingerprints and if hit keep fingerprints (becasue you don't want to DELETE your fingerprints) you have to enter a backup passcode twice!!!!!! Anyone else experiencing this nonsense?
