Forwarding a text message

Really stupid question, this is my first smart phone and I can't figure out how to forward a text message??  Any suggestions?

It isn't a stupid question, it will just take you some time to get acquainted with the OS. Open the message you want to forward, then press and hold the message. A menu will open with the option to forward.
