Frequently called numbers

Is there a way to turn off frequently called numbers? or delete them,  There are phone numbers in there that I have called once and it is getting annoying because the list just keeps getting longer and longer. Any help would be appreciated. I hope Google fix this in next update.

Hello shirke,

I would like to assist you.  Are you referring to the frequently called list when you tap the phone icon and next the clock icon at the top of the screen?  If so, when you are in the call log list you will see three vertical dots at the bottom right corner (menu) and once you tap that option you will see clear call log and settings.  Once you choose clear call log you will be asked to confirm and this will delete the list.  Please let me know if this was the correct call log list you were referring to and if you were successful with this suggestion.  Thank you.

I've tried that one like you mention and it erases everything in clock icon numbers but the frequently called numbers that I dial

out is still there.

Hello shirke!

Thank you for walking through the previous steps provided! I understand that it is not the call log you would like to delete, but the frequently dialed numbers. In order do this, you would first want to make sure that your contacts are backed up to Gmail. Once this is done, you will reset the contact storage app's cache and data.
