Frozen Touchscreen

Does anyone know what to do if the touch screen is frozen, even after several soft resets and still is not working. Everything else on the phone is working properly, I can use the volume and the other buttons but cannot do anything involving the touch screen. Thanks for your help. Smiley Happy

The touchscreen is a pretty important part of your S III! I'm sorry to learn that it's not responding properly. Thank you so much for all of the troubleshooting you've already completed.

Just in case it's a third party application, please attempt to put the phone in to safe mode: http://vz.to/12aeieG

If you're able to use the touchscreen while in safe mode it may be a third party application causing the issue. I would recommend uninstalling any recently downloaded or updated applications.

If the touchscreen is still unresponsive in safe mode I would then recommend a hard reset. Please ensure your information is backed up via Google or Backup Assistant. Here are the steps: http://bit.ly/Q00sJ9

If you're unable to complete a hard reset or it doesn't resolve the issues, perhaps your phone is covered under warranty or insurance.

How long have you had the phone? Does it have any liquid or physical damage? Do you have insurance?
