GPS, Google Maps navigation in the UK

Hi, I'll be traveling in the UK next week and would like to use the GPS functionality on my S3. I have an international BlackBerry for work (no GPS) so I don't need the voice, texting capability. Can anyone tell me if my current US S3's GPS will work in the UK?

you Verizon sim wont work there.

However you gps wiII work fine. Iv used mine in UK and IreIand no probs.

I aIso use an Irish sim in my phone when im there.

But 3g/4g wont work. Verision bIock you from changing APNs. but it dose work as a CeII
