GS4 WIFI issues

Greetings,

I have an interesting situation. We have an open WIFI connection at work. I have to get within 10' of the repeater. 2 Co-workers have a GS4 16gb but purchased from T-Mobile and one from ATT. The T-Mobile phone picks up the signal within 30' of the repeater and the ATT around 25'. We looked at all the settings and they mirror my Verizon GS4 16gb except for the model numbers. Is there a setting that I'm not seeing to improve the WIFI connection of the phone? Let me know it's frustrating not able to move around like they do and stay connected.

Dear gpeterden,

Good afternoon. I understand how important it is to be able to connect to wi-fi at all times.

Unfortunately, on the Samsung Galaxy S4, there is not an option to extend the range to connect to a wi-fi hotspot. You do have the option to set the wi-fi setting on your phone to auto connect whenever it detects a wi-fi hotspot. To enable this setting tap on menu>tap wi-fi>check off notify me and auto connect.
