GS5 was updating software and battery died. Now it won't turn on. Any suggestions.

Was updating software on GS 5.  Evidently the battery drained during the update and the phone will not turn on.  I took the battery out and replaced it, but no luck.  Any suggestions?

When you plug your phone into the charger does it appear to be working?
