Galaxy Nexus Hotspot

Just got my Galaxy Nexus phone with hotspot plan.  None of my mobile devices can see the Nexus.  Do I need to turn something ON?

Did you activate the Wi-fi Hotspot in Settings>Wireless & Networks>More>Tethering & Portable Hotspot>Portable Wi-fi Hotspot?
