Galaxy S7 Nougat Issues in Verizon Messaging App

In Messaging app Galaxy S7, i have 2 issues. My phone no longer vibrates when i receive a text although i have my phone and notifications set to vibrate. And I am unable to disable the swipe left to call and swipe right to delete message history on my individual text messages. I've tried to correct the issue from calling people in my phone settings but that does not work either. Any help would be much appreciated.
