Galaxy SIII constantly rebooting

About a year ago, my boyfriend and I signed up with Verizon and each bought a Galaxy SIII. A couple of weeks later, the speakers on my phone stopped working, so I took it back to the store and it was exchanged for a new one. The new phone worked as it was supposed to for a couple of months, then began to randomly get very hot with rapid battery drain, even when it was just sitting in my bag or pocket not in use. Then it began turning itself off completely, so I took it to the store again and was sent a refurbished phone. I've had this refurbished phone for a few weeks, and now THIS phone is having issues. It reboots itself at least once a day, even when there is nothing running on it, and I've noticed it tends to do it whenever I set it down.
I'm wondering if this is a known problem with this phone or if anyone else is having these issues, and if I will be able to exchange my refurbished phone AGAIN. I really don't want to be stuck with this defective phone for another year until I can upgrade.

Hi hebaker,
Oh My! I wouldn't want to see you have these problems for another year either. Did you get the extended warranty with your phone? You probably are still under warranty though. It sounds like the software on your phone may not be up to date. I would recommend trying these steps. http://vz.to/11f04go If your device is up to date, not to worry; an app could be the culprit. Try to run your phone is safe mode for 24 hours and see if this helps out. http://vz.to/12tXKQr Let us know if you need anything else.
