Recently my screen has started to flicker bright to dim. I haven't downloaded any new apps or new software. Any suggestions?

No I have no water damage. It has been dropped but it has been months since that has happened and I do have a case on it. No physical damage either.
Thanks for this information j_balcer! Sometimes when phones are damaged, it doesn't affect phone's functions immediately. Issues could be from the drop; however, it would be best to take into store for hands-on evaluation. (I've dropped my phone in water, and it didn't die on me for about a month after.)
