Hello, so i know this question has came up before but the other examples just don't quite match,
So almost 2 years into own my Galaxy s5 it suddenly started telling me "The connected charger is in compatible with this phone. To prevent damage to your phone, charging has been stopped. To continue charging, use the original charger and cable that were provided with this phone." While i do use a different charger i got at best buy ( the original one got damaged ). I've used it with no problem for over a year.
The only event precipitating this message was i went to bed and let my phone fully die. ( Didn't have my charger with me. ) When i woke up the next day and started getting this message when i tried to charge my phone. I'm not knowledgeable when it comes to the cell phone aspect of technology. So all I've tried so far is a factory reset, and I've tried 2 different charger cables, both known to have worked with my phone. Im outside my 1 year manufacturers Warranty but im still 2 months away from my upgrade ( Figures ). Any ideas?
