Gingerbread Updates not working

I downloaded the gingerbread update to my phone in December. It worked when I first downloaded it, texts would pop up, I had black listing, etc.. But once I turned my phone off everything that came along with the update was gone. I know it has been awhile but I was hoping a software to fix these issues would become available. Has anyone else had or solved this problem?

How long ago did you turn off the phone and have everything disappear when you turned it back on? The OS update should have written itself in as the boot OS, so Gingerbread should still be on there. Have you tried shutting it off and pulling the battery for 30 seconds or so, and then restarting it?

Heymay09, I'm sad to hear that you've been dealing with this issue since December! Are you saying the phone reverted to the way it was working before the update and nothing looks different? I just want to verify which software version you have. Go to Settings, About phone, Status. Which software and baseband version do you have? Also check for new updates.
