On my Samsung A02S, there are randomly periods of which I can't send or receive group(mms) messages. They appear from the person who sent them, as downloadable content, but I can't download it. I have tried multiple texting apps, including google messages, samsung messages, and handcent sms. How can I stop this from happening? It's really annoying to just not get messages.

I have experienced this issue myself before, and it definitely is frustrating!
There can be a number of explanations varying from your device or another in the group. What application are you using for this group? (Verizon Messages, Samsung Messages, etc.)

Sorry I didn't see that earlier, but it appears to have the same problem on multiple apps. I've tried samsung, google, and hc. Right now I am using hc.

That is certainly odd that this is happening across all of those different apps, Explodey_Wolf. We definitely want to make sure you're getting all of your messages. You mentioned this happens periodically. Does this only happen with specific groups of people you're messaging, or one group in particular? What happens with your other services when this issue is occuring (calls, normal text messages, or data)? What happens if you attempt to send/receive these messages on Wi-Fi vs OFF Wi-Fi?

Hi Joseph, this happens with or without wifi(as I'm pretty sure that mms is sent with cellular either way) and this happens with every single group. I never am able to debug it though, because of the absence of actual messages coming in I never know what this is happening, but I will try downloading those ghost messages with and without wifi.

This issue has become an issue again. I have sent a private note regarding this issue to verizon community support. The time period which this issue happened has stopped and I currently can't do anymore testing with it.

We never want you to have an issue sending or receiving group messages. What happens when you send a picture messsage to yourself do you receive it? Can you use the browser with Wi-Fi off? What zip code are you in? -Joe
