My phone has not worked correctly since I upgraded to the newest operating system Nougat here late last week. Apps have stopped working completely. Buttons won't work, the screen will randomly stopped functioning, and the phone will completely freeze up for minutes at a time for no known reason. Doesn't matter if I'm using it for periods of time or just grab it to look at the time. It's draining the battery faster than it ever has. Overall this software update has ruined my phone

Have you tried the volume up/power/home then go to clear cache partition by using the volume down button
then just reboot. If that does't work try backing up the phone with smart switch or kies and the do a factory reset. hope this helps

You may also want to make sure all your apps are updated because some of them may need it due to your phone going from marshmallow to nougat

I got the Nougat upgrade for my S7 on Saturday night (9:30pm 4/1/17). By Sunday night my battery reached 21%. At 20% the phone shut off on its own and registered 0% when I tried turning it back on.
Last night I intentionally didn't charge. It was 26% when I awoke. Few hours later, I got a 15% low battery notification and then it shut down again. Both times it shuts down, the battery registers as 0%. Anyone else having these battery issues?!?

This definitely sounds alarming! May we ask if you have run a device health check on your device? KleoL_VZW
