Headset volume very low

I recently converted to a Galaxy S3 from iPhone.  The iPhone played video and music in my car with no problem (through an AUX cable).  My S3 plays video and Music audio as well BUT THE VOLUME IS VERY LOW!   I have to turn the volume of my car stereo almost all the way up and can still barely hear it!  I t also seems that any headphones or earbuds I use have the same problem.  Although my phone volume settings are at MAX, the actual volume is not very loud at all!  Is my phone defective? Is there a way to get louder volume from the headphone/AUX jack?

I hear your frustration. I listen to my music all the time in my car too. From the info that you are providing, it sounds like there is a problem with your headset jack. I would recommend making sure that there is no debris in the jack. If the problem still persists we can look into replacement options. Please let us know.
