I have a Siii that was recently dropped in the toilet by my 2 year old. I am trying to get my pictures and video off of it. My screen doesn't let me swipe it. I have been using svoice to make calls and texts till my new devices comes in from Asurion. I have tried connecting it through usb on both my window laptop and mac. It will not read it. I tried Kies air but it won't pick up my device!!! If I can't do this can I take it in to get Verizon to pull all the photos and videos off of it?

Did you put the phone in a sealed bag of uncooked rice for 24 to 48 hours to dry out the phone before attempting to access the phone?
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I know its frustrating having a phone get water damage Helpbrokenphone! I know it can be more frustrating not to be able to get pictures & videos from it. Ann154 gave a great tip! Its a good idea to let your phone sit in uncooked rice for a few hours, or even a day. Its best to remove back, battery, & SD card, place them all in rice separately. This could help, but its not guaranteed. Also, does the phone have a removable SD card with the media on it? If so, you may be able to retrieve it by putting into another phone, or PC to transfer data. Are you able to view any of your pictures on the phone? If so, you may be able to take into store to transfer, but its best to call local store to see if they can. For closest store, please select following link: http://bit.ly/3SdsA The phone number will also be provided so you can call ahead.
Thank you,
