When my phone is locked i don't have my icons, such as email, camera, msg.,etc. Once i unlock my phone the icons are there. Is there a way of getting them back? They dissapeared when i have to do a factory reset.
Unless those icons are supposed to be available on the lock screen, it sounds like the phone is functioning normally.

I believe the O.P. may be referring to the notification bubbles that were lost in the Jelly Bean update.

I think I know what you are looking for. Go to settings. lock screen. Lock screen settings. The first option says shortcuts, and make sure that on and if you click the work shortcuts you can change them.
