Horrible Phone Service Over the Last Year!

I have notice that the Verizon Phone Service has gotten horrible over the past year. I am located in Florida. Verizon used to be the best service around here. What is going on with the dropped calls and data loss? I am ready to move to a new service after 20 years with Verizon.
