Have a galaxy s10. With unlimited plus. 30gb/month tethering that I've barely used. Can't use it this morning while in Albany Oregon. Speed test has great speeds on phone, just can't tether. I've tried rebooting phone normal, and In airplane mode.
Mine has popped up with that error message as well. Fremont, CA.
I have the Galaxy S20+ with 5G
I tried again while YouTube was open on phone. Got fatal error and it suddenly began working.
