How can I change the apps/features shown on my desktop cradle screen?

I have the desktop cradle, which brings upa special horizontal display that shows the time...and along the bottom shows 4-5 apps like Alarm, Daily Briefing, Voice Speech (or something), Music, etc.

I'd like to change the apps/features shown there. The settings for desktop view are limited to date and time and something else not related to those icons/apps.

Does anyone know if/how I can change those to the ones I want?

Best I can tell the desktop cradle isn't customizable. You're limited to only taking the weather and time off of the screen. The apps/features can't be changed.

Apparently, that third-party provider (for the desktop cradle app) has plans to make it more customizable, but you cant do it yet

OTOH, there is supposedly another app that allows you to do it, 'Lo Cal.' But it costs $10.

I asked the same question when i went to a class. They said that there is a third party app (not free) that you can customize the desk cradle icons
