How can I get archived voice mail messages off my Samsung Galaxy S7 edge after I had to do a factory re-set? And/or will they still be on my iphone that I transferred to?

Hi there.  Was more or less forced to try visual voice mail.  After my trial period, it automatically saved my last few messages to an archived file.  I saw them in there.  A few days later I was locked out of my phone and had no other choice than to do a factory re-set.  Now my archived messages are gone, but the other ones are still there.  I had a rather sentimental message in there from 2008.  It has survived three or more other phone transfers.  Have this stupid phone for 30 days and poof! it's gone!  Does anyone know how I can get them.  I've only had this phone for a little over a month and I absolutely HATE it.  I've had a cellphone since 1997 - this is by far the worst!  Hate, hate, HATE it!    But if anybody can help, that would be great.

I'm sorry to hear you have lost your archived voice mail messages JAN502. I can understand how sentimental this is for you. If they were deleted, we don't have an option to retrieve them. I'm truly sorry for the inconvenience.

JANA502,

We understand wanting to save certain messages and would be happy to help any way we can. Is the message no longer available when you access your voice mail by dialing *86? If it has been completely deleted then there would be no way to retrieve the message.

I know this is several months old but my life is crazy.  Anyway...The messages were NOT deleted.  They were archived.  However, after I had to do the phone re-set, even though all of the other saved messages were there in the regular voice mail application, any that were archived were lost.  I feel like they maybe could be somewhere, like iCloud, however I'm not that technologically savvy to figure that out.  I've never used it at all.  Do you think you can still help?  I would love to take one more shot at retrieving the message.

THanks!

In your original post you say you now have an iPhone. iPhones have their own voicemail platform. It is therefore reasonable to conclude that if you physically call your voicemail line and the message is not there that you will not get it back.

Sorry.  That was a mistake of one word at the end of my post.  I no longer have an iphone.  I know I could have retrieved the message from there.  I have the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.  For some reason, the messages saved to the archive but got lost after the factory re-set.  I feel like they could be out there somewhere.  Anyway...it really doesn't matter much anymore.  It's too annoying to try to figure it out.  It's just that the message has been in my voicemail since 2008 and has survived three, if not more, cellphone changes/updates.  It wasn't until I got this Samsung that my message went bye-bye.  Just frustrating.  Thanks though for your reply though.
