How do I backup text messages from Message+ to the Verizon Cloud?

I just chatted with verizon pre paid customer service. She said verizon Cloud didn't back up messages plus , she referred me to call the legal department. 

How about using Smart Switch ?

I am looking to back up my messages Plus texts with at least a year length of texts data periods.

Can I use Verizon Cloud with this? can Verizon Cloud back up up to one year of text message data?

I'd suggest using a text backup/restore app from the Play Store, like

Backing up things and keeping them safe is a big deal. The Verizon Cloud can back up messages, but when you use it for the first time it only backs up the last 90 days of messages. After that it will keep those messages and any new ones backed up so over time you can build up over a year's worth of messages but if you already have that many, 9 months of those aren't going to be backed up. As a result it may be better for you to consider another option for backing these up.
