I bought some ringtones from Verizon.
The message arrived, I saved as Ringtone per instructions (I've had the phone for 1 day now)
I saved some more than once - how do I remove the duplicates?
For that matter where do non-system ringtones 'live'?

Check the download folder? Look for "Downloads" in your app drawer.

Custom ringtones go into a ringtones folder in the phone storage. Notification tones go into the notifications folder. Alarms tones go into the alarms folder.
You might need to download a file explorer application from the Play Store (formerly Android Market). Estrongs or Astro are well known ones.

Hello grok!
Have you checked in your music files? You should be able to see the ringtone with the rest of your music, and long press to delete.
Hope this helps!

Apps used to download files usually have their own folders. As suggested above, use a file explorer to navigate the sdcard partition.
