I have great signal, but my galaxy S7 says it cannot find a signal when activating for the first time and the only options I get are for an emergency phone call or to shut the phone off. Is there a way to fix this?
I called customer service and they activated my phone right away. Thank you for your assistance.
how do you know you have a good signal??
turn the phone off, move to a different location & try again.
I can see the signal meter when I turned the phone on and it shows three bars, which is usually pretty good for my area. I tried a different location but nothing.
i wasn't aware you could see the signal strength when activating the phone.
We appreciate any additional details you can provide. Are you upgrading from another phone? If so, did you power the old phone off?
