How do I get my contacts to back up to the cloud?

how do I get my contacts in the contacts app to back up to the cloud, instead of the contacts in the email account tied to the phone? Samsung Galaxy S3

You want them to backup to the Verizon Cloud? Open the Cloud app and make sure that the contact backup is enabled and then force the backup. Then log into My Verizon to verify the backup.
