How do I get rid of the Clash of the Clans Full screen pop up ad?

Almost as soon as I got my new phone a few weeks a full screen pop-up ad for Clash of the Clans started showing up periodically whenever I go to use my phone right after I log in and the lock screen is disabled. I've tried stopping auto updates reseting the phone removing the games I had downloaded and it still keeps coming up. Is there anything I can do to get rid of this?

It's one of the apps you have installed. It doesn't have to be a game.

You may try an app like AirPush in the Play Store. Those types of apps tell you what is pushing ads to your device. Doesn't have to be that particular game, could be a leftover file from something else. Anti-virus apps also let you know what apps are pushing ads in their privacy tests. i know Avast Free will tell you this.

Well I've put in Avast and AirPush (after I removed a couple of apps that I thought might be iffy) and it said there was nothing wrong so I guess now I just wait and hope.

Neither reported privacy issues and which apps would have permissions that might cause ads?
