How do I go about exchanging an old SIM for a new one?

Got my S5 last week and installed my old SIM card from my previous phone as per the Verizon instructions. Now I am seeing messages on certain apps that say things like "to use Softcard, your phone needs a new SIM". I received a new SIM when I purchased the phone, so how do I now go about exchanging the old SIM for the new one?

unless the old sim was from an s5, it won't work. have verizon send you one or go to a verizon store.

Suncrow, congratulations on your upgrade to a new Samsung Galaxy S5! We recommend that you use the new sim card that came with your device. Just power it off and insert the new card. Your device will automatically start the activation process and complete on it's own. Keep us posted.
