How do I stop Backup Assistant Plus from creating backup photo folder?

I have unselected photos in the set up, but to no avail. Every time I delete a photo, BAM - there is the stupid folder with what I just deleted. I clean up my photos quite often and having to delete them twice is annoying - ESPECIALLY when I have it set NOT to backup these items.

I loved the backup assistant plus on my dumb (non-smart) phone. It was simple. It backed up contacts. No data worries, no other settings, nothing. Simple. I don't understand why this has to be so complicated

Hi bbro- Let's make sure you are able to easily customize your storage options! To confirm are you using the Verizon Cloud application or is it still labeled Backup Assistant Plus? If it is Backup Assistant Plus, I would suggest downloading the Verizon Cloud application to manage your backups. When going to Menu>Settings>Accounts>Backup Assistant Plus, are you able to adjust the sync settings for pictures here? Please keep me updated on the status so we can get to the bottom of this!

I am not using the cloud. Why do I need to download yet something else just to save my contacts?

The only thing I want to back up is my numbers. As I said in my original post, it is NOT set up to sync photos. This is my entire problem. It is NOT set up and is STILL doing it

Thank you for the information. We don't want you to have a hassle with the program. Have you accessed the Myverizon account online and picked the option to not sync photos. You can do this by logging into your Myverizon account and then select backup under Mydevice. This should undetect the autosync on both the computer and on the phone. Please let me know if you have any trouble doing this.

I logged into the verizon website. Clicking my device shows nothing that says "backup". It doesn't open a new page and doesn't change - it just shows the overview of usage that it always did. I tried Manage My Device and there still is nothing that says "backup"
