How do I transfer contacts from my old droid ultra to my S6?

Only 22 out of about 140 contacts transferred. I have free version of Youmail and I see them on my account on their web site. Anyone have tips? This is my first Samsung and I never had trouble transferring between Motorola phones

Also, I have set the screen brightness to automatic several times only to have it go back to manual by itself!

The tried and true method is to set up a Gmail account on the old phone, sync contacts to Gmail, and then set up that same Gmail account on the new phone. All your contacts should come streaming onto the new phone.
