Since I updated my phone I cannot receive text messages anymore. Anyone else having this issue? Also how do I unistall the update?
Normally when you upgrade your operating system, you usually cannot revert back to an older OS. When you did the upgrade did you make sure that you also updated your apps? and sometimes even just minor changes in the operating system can have an adverse effect on installed apps. other than not being able to use text messaging, Have you noticed any other issues? Are you both unable to receive and send text messages?
Nothing else has changed. Everything's up to date I can receive phone calls and everything else but texts. I even backed everything up and did a complete factory reset and nothing has worked. All of this occurred once I did the update.
Software updates are supposed to make your device run better not worse. I am sorry to hear this is happening, Ginnychristina27. Let’s makes sure this is fixed once and for all. Although we are not able to uninstall the update, we can find a solution for the texts not working. What make/model device do you have? What text messaging application are you using? Have you attempted to use a different text application to see if the issue duplicates? Keep us posted.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 5. I've switched messaging apps constantly to see if it works. I mainly use the Verizon message app. It seems to only receive messages from Verizon users now.

That certainly is odd! Let's keep digging here. Are you able to send messages to everyone? Do people get error messages when they send you a message? Doe sit occur with both text messages as well as picture &/or group messages?

I can send messages and every one receive them and people can send them to me with no notification saying there's an error. I've gone 2 weeks with my phone like this I just want my messaging back its making work a bit more complicated.
I'm having the exact same problem.
I have tried everything and only solution Verizon rep said was to replace my phone. Replacing phone is not my preferred option. I'll take any help on this
I was able to fix the problem and can now recieve everything. Try calling tech support my problem was a network issue. Even if I had gotten a new phone the problem was attached to my number.
