How do I view my restored texts from my Verizon Cloud?

Recently, my phone did a big update, and it seemed to delete everything off of my phone. I have the Galaxy S5. I have restored everything, and I tried to restore my texts. It says I have 730. I click restore, and it says it will take about an hour (which it does) and then says they are all restored, yet they do not show up on my phone OR on the Verizon website. I use Message+, always connected to WiFi, and have nothing else going on in the background. How can I get them back?

I want you to have those messages back on your phone as well, caitlinharris34. It is very strange that your phone indicates that messages are restored and you are unable to see them on it. I have followed those exact steps. That is when it tells me I have 730, and then they do not show up anywhere. It even says that the restore was successful.

No. I am not able to see them online either. They do not restore anywhere.

This is disheartening to hear that you haven’t been able to restore your texts back to your phone. This is definitely not what we want anyone to experience. I noticed you said that you are always on wifi. What happens when you try to restore the texts when on our data network? Can you please try that? After you do the restore, have you been able to turn the phone completely off and then back on?

@caitlinharris34, I regret you are having this trouble with Cloud restore. Let's get to the bottom of this. Are you able to view any of the messages? If so what type (pictures/videos regular texts?) what application are you using on your device for text messages?
