How long must I pay for a phone when I can't make or receive calls when I need to?

I've tried all the suggestions like wiping the cache, pulling and reinserting the sim card but the bottom line is my phone hasn't worked properly since the last update. I'm paying way too much for a phone that at best works sporadically.

I apologize for the issues you are having with your device. It sounds like you tried many things to try and fix the phone. However, have you tried doing a hard reset? Please back up your data and use this link for the step http://vz.to/1q6N2zk. This will get the device back to factory settings where you can test it prior to you adding any 3rd party apps.
