How to Fix Visual voicemail - paid service

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4. I pay for visual voicemail. It is a buggy app which does not get updated with corrections by Verizon.

I use 4g, not wifi, as I learned you have to do. After I play a message, the PHOENIX locks up. I cannot close the message screen, I cannot close the program, I cannot do Anything after playing a message.

I have restarted the phone, to fix, of course. Why doesn't Verizon make sure this works and update your software app that I Pay For, so it's fixed?? I am posting here to get help.

Contacting your technical support by phone takes a long time, and has not helped at times.

Peace2all, visual voicemail is a wonderful way to gain quick access to your messages. We want checking them to be an easy process for you. Help is here to ensure this happens so let’s get started. Are the other functions of your device working well? Calls, data and text? Have you tried clearing the cache on this particular application to see if that make any difference? To try this, do the following: Settings>Applications>Application Manager>at the top of the screen you will see ALL, scroll over until you see DOWNLOADED>Find the Voice mail> clear cache, clear data and force stop.

No, this didn't fix the problem, so I have cancelled my paid service for "Verizon Wireless Visual Voicemail"

I am disappointed with Verizon Wireless. I am a long-time customer. Visual Voicemail is offered on the Google Play Store. It is NEVER updated there by Verizon Wireless. If it was, and your programmers would Regularly check on bugs, like most of the other (even free) apps on Google Play Store do, you would still have me as a Visual Voicemail customer!
Verizon's Visual Voicemail (which you charge $ to customers who want it), most definitely needs to be Regularly monitored and improved upon on a daily, weekly, or, at least a Monthly basis, every month! Again, like I said above, even free applications from smaller companies do this! Verizon has the resources in your IT or programming departments to do this, but you Do Not...ugh!! So, please, please get this info to those people, so they can *fix your own* Verizon app. Thanks anyway.
