How to I look up browser history since Verizon's forced update?

A few days ago Verizon did an update to my Samsung Galaxy S3. I have noticed some changes and now I am no longer able to view my history of web browsing. There are times I know I visited a page and need to go back for more information. This creates the problem because the old way of viewing your history no longer works and brings up an annoying sidebar thats does nothing really at all. So how to I find the history?
It would be great if Verizon could explain the changes of the update instead of just forcing it on us without knowing what changes until after the update.

For the S III specifically, visit http://bit.ly/QffuuV for the software change log. How were you normally viewing the history? I'm seeing some steps to hit the search bar, then hit more. You should see History there. Is that the option you're missing?
