I have received several spam text messages from email addresses instead of numbers. They claim to be from paypal or amazon and have a link to "sign in and secure (my) account." How do I block them? The instructions I've found so far don't work.

s2ous,
Unwanted messages are never fun. You can find steps to block messages from email accounts under step 5 at https://www.verizon.com/support/block-unblock-services-faqs/#:~:text=How%20do%20I%20block%20internet....

Andrew,
Why does Verizon keep telling people they can block all texts coming from e-mail when you know that is not true?
Verizon is fully aware that the "block" you reference applies only to messages sent through <number> @ vtext.com and does NOTHING to block those going to <number> @ vzwpix.com.
When will Verizon admit that you know that setting doesn't work and you REFUSE to implement the trivially simple fix that would make it work?
