How to downgrade to android 4.1.1 or how to get an unlock code

Hi,

I just want to find out if there is a way for me to downgrade to android 4.1.1 or how to get an unlock code because currently i am out of the country. And i wanted to know if there is a way for me to get me text message with my verizon wireless registration password with out turning on my phone.

You need the latest OS version for the Galaxy S3 on the phone in order for it to be SIM unlocked for use in foreign countries. The latest version would be at least Android 4.3

I don't have an account of my own with verizon but i have been doing some research about the verizon s3 and it says it is sim unlock and i wanted to find out if it is true because i travel twice a year out of the country and i would like to put a sim card that is used in the country to use in the phone.
