I am having an issue with Daylight Savings Time for future appointments.

I live in Arizona and we do not recognize Daylight Savings Time. Some of my calendar appointments have been adjusted by an hour for future appointments. This should not be the case. When I go into my settings it states I am on MST and will not switch to AZ as an option. I believe this may be my issue but when I select AZ it automatically goes back to MST and removes AZ as my selection. What am I doing wrong to correct?

I am going to assume that on March 9, 2014 your calendar will auto correct. I know the clocks jump ahead on this date at 2 AM in my state (NY) hopefully I am correct. In any case if your calendar is off by an hour just adjust your appointment by one hour to match. But I am thinking it will self correct.
