I can't hear anybody and they can't hear me on a call.

On my Samsung S5, when I call out I cannot hear phone ringing, nor can I hear the other person when they answer.  The other person cannot hear me either.  I am able to text, however.  This is happening no matter what zipcode I am in.  This started about a week ago.  I have tried rebooting and that has not helped.  I am puzzled.  Any suggestions?

Greetings redsfan7677. Although you’re having difficulty being heard through your calls, we’ve heard you here. Good to know the device model. Thank you for including that, as well as the description. Do you use a headset or headphones with your device? If you do, does this happen with calls both with and without them? How about speakerphone mode? Has your Galaxy S5 been damaged in any way?
