I changed my ISP and in attempting to add the new Wifi network I get an authentication error under settings. My wife's identical phone and new network password was changed without problem. Suggestions?

Why am I receiving an "authentication error" in changing my Wifi network?  I changed my ISP and in attempting to add the new Wifi network I get an authentication error using Wifi settings.  My wife's identical phone and new network password was changed without problem.  Suggestions?

if you did it manually, delete the account, re-create by entering login/password & select auto. an imap account will be setup.
