I didn't cancel my service? Why am I getting an email saying I did?

I just got an email on a 'cancellation statement' for my services? I never said anything about cancelling! I'm afraid to click on any links in case this is fraud, but what's going on?

Does your phone still work? If you don't have any problem with your phone, this is likely a "phishing" email trying to get you to give up some personal information.
If you want to confirm with Verizon, you should not click on anything in the message but instead call Verizon directly to inquire about your account.

probbaly a phishing scam. Just log into My Verizon normally. Meaning do NOT click any links and see if eveyrthing is ok. 99.99% that it is.

Mark2019, Receiving emails indicating that your service has been disconnected is extremely alarming. Being a consumer myself I know that would definitely leave me feeling uneasy. I want to make sure this is investigated further, so we can address this as soon as possible. Can you tell me when this started?
