By all reports this upgrade is: slow; decreases battery life; causes many apps to either fail or disappear completely; locks up the phone or bricks it; greatly reduces receiver sensitivity, etc. I clicked the update message tab that I don't want it. All that did was to remove that tab as a choice and now makes it necessary to push the 'home' button once more to get rid of the pop-up which only gives the tabs 'update now' or 'update later'. One of these times the overly sensitive screen will see my finger too close and start a very unintended update at which point I'll be totally screwed. Since the "learn more online" screen hotspot takes me to a Verizon page I have to ass-u-me that Verizon is generating the annoyingly dangerous pop-up. PLEASE tell me how to safely get rid of that pop-up for good. Thanks!!
