I'm down to my last login attempt, but the fingerprint reader isn't working. How do I force it to ask for my password before trying to use the fingerprint reader.

How do I get my phone to just ask for my password without using the fingerprint reader?

I don't use fingerprints anymore after Marshmallow update cause [removal required by the Verizon Wireless Terms of Service] to switch between fingerprints and nothing but if I recall, if you swipe the lock at the bottom of the lockscreen you can input password.
